Adaptive Radiation Therapy Survey in the Australasia Region
This survey explores the current practice of Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART) in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. It is adapted from the McNair et al. (2020) and Bertholet et al. (2020) surveys, which examined image-guided ART and offline/online plan adaptation.
If you are a medical radiation professional working in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, we invite you to complete this survey. All data collected will be anonymised and de-identified before analysis to ensure no individual or institution can be identified in reports or publications. As participation is anonymous, withdrawal is not possible after survey completion.
Interim results will be presented at the 2025 ASMIRT/NZIMRT conference in Adelaide. The findings will provide insights into current ART practices, including implementation, professional responsibilities, and clinical decision-making criteria, helping to inform training requirements to support ART.
Participation is voluntary, takes approximately 20 minutes, and will not affect your relationship with Monash University or the research team. You consent to participate in this research by completing the survey. It is not possible to withdraw after completing the survey as your responses are anonymous.
For this survey, ART refers to re-planning based on anatomical and physiological changes, encompassing both offline and online approaches.
Survey sections:
- Current Practice
- Professional Responsibilities
- Decision-Making and Criteria (Section A or B, based on occupation)
