Researchers from Monash University and Melbourne Sexual Health Centre are conducting a trial to recruit gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men to distribute HIV self-test kits to their friends or sexual partners.

It is important to get tested for HIV and know your status. There are still a lot of people who do not know their HIV status. About half of new diagnoses in Australia are late diagnoses because people are not testing frequently enough.

We are undertaking the study because there is a need to improve awareness and uptake of HIV self-test among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in Australia. Your participation will help to improve health outcomes in your community.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. More details of the study are available in this link. (Participant Information Consent Sheet). Your responses will be re-identified to (Respondent #01, #02) and stored securely on a password-protected folder on the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre server.

Please complete this survey if you are interested to take part in this study as a test promoter to distribute free HIV self-test kits to 3 of your friends or sexual partners. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
