Examining Racism in Community Sport.
This survey aims to understand how racism impacts community sport and what can be done to help address it. Participation in community sport can provide many benefits for communities. However, experiencing racism in community sport can be harmful.
We invite anyone over the age of 18 who is or has been involved in playing or the delivery of community sport to complete the survey. You may be an athlete, parent of a child athlete, coach, volunteer, committee member or spectator. Whatever your involvement in community sport we’d welcome your views. Your insights will assist sporting organisations to develop solutions to respond to racism within community sport. You can find more information about the project here:

The project is conducted by Professor Ruth Jeanes (Monash University), Professor Ramon Spaaij (Victoria University), Professor Karen Farquharson (University of Melbourne) and Dr Franka Vaughan (Monash/Victoria Universities), in partnership with the Centre for Multicultural Youth & CMSport and funded by VicHealth.
Completing the survey takes around 10 mins. Your participation is voluntary, confidential and anonymous.
